The ending

My new ending is:

After Deenie arrives at the party, Buddy comes over to her. He invites her to join him. However, Deenie understands that she isn't really in love with Buddy. She realizes that the movie has influenced her. When she goes with him into the room, she tells him how she feels. Buddy behaves very disrespectly to her. He laughs at her and calls her a baby. Deenie understands that she has made a mistake. After she leaves the party, she meets a nice kid in the doctor's office who has the same back problem as her. She starts to hang out with him. After a few month, Deenie discoveres that she loves her new friend Tommy because they have so much in common.

The plot

The book tells us about a girl named Deenie. Deenie is a very beautiful girl and her mother wants her to be a model. Her name was picked from the name of a girl that her mother saw in a movie. In the movie the girl is very pretty and has a boyfriend named Buddy. Deenie takes the meaning of her name very seriously and she finds out that in the 8th grade there is a boy named Buddy. She really tries to approach him and she is very successful. But then just when everything seems to be perfect, Deenie discovers that she has to wear a brace on her body for 4 years because she has a problem with her spine. From then on, Deenie and Buddy become closer and in the end everything turns out well.

In the story I didn't know what was going to happen. The whole story is unpredictable and by the end of the story, I was very tense but it's just a story.
